The Adani Mega Scam: A Brief Summary

Don't get brainwashed by the propaganda around the recent US indictment of Adani and his accomplices. Just go through the following facts:

1) Adani was first arrested for fraud in 2002 by the Delhi govt directly under Vajpayee, a Non-Soros influenced, non-deepstate BJP Prime Minister.

2) The over-invoicing and over-pricing scams of Adani on equipment, coal, etc through global proxies and coercion tactics of Modi Sarkar make Indian consumers pay huge power bills due to inflated costs of acquisition.

3) The govt sets agencies like ED, IT, and CBI to target dozens of Indian businesses which result in the ownership of these businesses ending up in Adani's hands.

4) There is a set pattern and strong correlation between Modi's visits to multiple nations and Adani getting huge contracts by these governments a few weeks later.

5) Adani has got large amounts of land and infrastructure at throwaway prices by governments all over the country. Even the manner in which he got the Dharavi project in Mumbai has raised eyebrows.

6) Hindenburg, a US short seller revealed nearly 2 years ago that Adani group was indulging in financial malpractices and large-scale stock manipulation through a global structure of shell entities based in Mauritius, Singapore and other countries.

7) SEBI claimed to draw a blank in investigating Hindenburg's allegations despite strong evidence and money trails provided by international entities. Later, it was found that the SEBI chief herself was involved with the fraudulent Adani shell network and  that she may have been derailing the investigation.

8) Not a single Indian investigation agency such as ED, IT, SEBI, CBI and the Lokpal are likely to investigate further into the Adani scam despite the large-scale evidence being shared by Hindenburg, the US courts,  and stock market regulator, and internationally reputed journalists.

9) Whenever top Indian politicians like Mahua Moitra, Rahul Gandhi and Sanjay Singh of different political parties first raised their voices against the Adani scam, they were immediately slapped with serious legal charges (and even faced lengthy jail terms) on different issues raised by the BJP, almost as if they were being blackmailed into silence.

10) The US indictment is about serious allegations of corruption by government officials and possibly ministers in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Orissa, Chattisgarh, and J&K, but the central and state governments, courts, investigation agencies and sold out mainstream media are still sleeping and complicit in this crony capitalistic mega fraud.

11) The indictment of Adani in the US for fraud and misrepresentation to investors is based on the evidence of fraud provided by multiple whistleblowers who are/were insiders within Adani's own business network.

12) Ajit Pawar, a partner of Modi's BJP government in Maharashtra has claimed that Adani, an Indian businessman was present at a political discussion to decide government formation in the state along with other BJP leaders and representatives of their political allies.

The fact is that for the past few decades none of the above agencies have ever completed a thorough investigation into the list of wrong-doings of the conglomerate, the individual and his crony capitalistic dealings with political masters. The facts are often drowned in misplaced patriotism and nefarious spin doctoring.

So Little Humanity

         -   by Vivek Pereira

So many humans
But so little humanity
Amidst the great rally
For one man’s vanity.
So much passion,
But so little empathy;
No expression of remorse
Not even thru’ telepathy.
Such a lot of promises,
But most remain unfulfilled;
All they want is power
No matter who gets killed.
So large a nation,
But so few citizens,
Daring to take on evil,
And preventing all these sins.
Such a small mindset,
But an even narrower vision
That’s taking us all backwards
Thru’ the politics of religion
So little time,
But still a lot to do;
Let’s work even harder
And make our dreams come true.

For the Glory of India

                   - By Vivek Pereira

India is my nation
As much as it’s yours;
Should a difference in ideologies
Lead to rioting and wars?

Having opposing views
Is certainly not sedition;
Too much of brainwashing
Has led to this condition.

All should come together:
The left and the right;
For the glory of India
We must all fight.

For our enemies desire
To see our country divided;
And this is being accomplished
By citizens who are misguided.

Never fear or envy
Folks different from you;
All colours are wonderful,
especially saffron, green and blue.

Don’t fall for political rhetoric
That’s intolerant and cheap;
Just for the sake of power,
A divisive agenda they’ll keep.

So let’s take a pledge
to counter such seeds of hate;
And strive for peace and unity;
That’ll make India ever so great.

Romeo and Juliet: An Updated Version for Bandra Buggers

- Written by Yours Truly many years ago

Juliet: (to herself) Which one of my boyfriends could it be knocking at my bedroom window at this unearthly hour? Oh, it’s Romeo!!!

Juliet: (To Romeo) Romeo, you bledy bugger – What are you up to, men? Get down from the tree before you fall and break your b…...”

Romeo: I climbest this tree to express my love for thou – a love that can survive tempests and tsunamis.

Juliet: Romeo, dearest, dost thou havest – a car, a flat, or an ipad?

Romeo: I haveth none of the above.

Juliet: Then how dost thou dare to love? Thou livest in a fool’s paradise. I cannot love thee.

Romeo: I just inherited a cool million from an uncle who passed away. He was quite a rich dude. The cash is in the bank.

Juliet: I truly love thee now, my Romeo.

Romeo: Why dost thou not respond to my SMSes, my darling? Thou knowest how much I love thee especially after thou went under the plastic surgeon’s scalpel.

Juliet: A Daniel, still say I, a second Daniel!

Romeo: I think that’s from the “Merchant of Venice”.

Juliet: Oops! I’m acting in it as well.

Romeo: Anyways, Juliet, I simply adoreth your beautiful blue eye lenses and your brown hair so immaculately dyed.

Juliet: So what shall we do now, my hero? My parents cannot stand the sight of you…I mean thou or whatever.

Romeo: Let’s run away and have a long-term live-in relationship.

Juliet: What about killing ourselves with poison?

Romeo: Okey dokey, my love. Your wish is my command.

Juliet: I was just kidding – I’m not a loser like you. Get lost, creep.

Romeo: OK. I’ll try to patao Bianca from tomorrow onwards. Any idea if she’s still single and ready to mingle?

Analysing the Note Ban Saga

My issue with the whole thing is why was the RBI flooding the ATMs and banks with 500 & 1000 INR currency notes when they had already planned to withdraw these notes six months ago. Was it to harass the public? All bank counters and ATMs were dishing out only 1000 and 500 Rupee notes in these past six months. Senior citizens and the poor will be deeply affected by this move. Let s forget the black money folks for a while. And, we re not sure what can happen to the economy at this stage? Choppy waters for the stock and currency markets for sure! And why are there no measures to curb black money in the stock market through participatory notes and the inflow of tainted funds to political parties? Why are political parties still allowed to accept black money? They have good intentions but poor implementation - the time window should have been at least 3 months. And, how will it help if the present currency notes were once used by terrorists and changed hands twenty times. Will they slap charges of terrorism on the poor, ignorant, innocent accountholder who accepted money in good faith and went to deposit it in his bank account? That would be ridiculous!

About a Ban on Participatory Notes:

Still wondering why Modi did not ban participatory notes as they are possibly more dangerous than the defunct high value currency notes when it comes to black money hoarding, round tipping, money laundering, corruption, terror funding and benami deals. What are your views on the miniscule action taken on participatory notes when they pose a much bigger threat? Is n t it like locking your front door tightly when leaving your home but leaving your back door wide open for thieves?

May Your Star Shine Far and Bright: An Appeal for Peace in Kashmir

An Open letter to Kashmiris by Vivek Pereira, Author of the Novel 'Indians in Pakistan' (a book on ISI-sponsored terrorism with a strong focus on Kashmir)

My Dear Kashmiri Brothers and Sisters,

The recent events in and around the valley have stirred our nation like never before. For as Kashmir weeps, most of us weep with her; and when Kashmir bleeds, most of us bleed with her. The bullets, stones and pellets may continue to fly thick and fast but not thick or fast enough to destroy the great bond of brotherhood that exists between us. Being the author of a novel with a strong focus on Kashmir as well as a fellow Indian with deep-rooted secular credentials, I dare address you as my brothers and sisters, for that is what you are.

Today hope manifests itself as a distant star blurring away in the horizon. Terrorists continue to sneak in from across the border with impunity despite the tough security measures in place. Homegrown extremists like Wani have started using the gun to express themselves. A few overzealous or callous police officers and military personnel have sometimes made grave errors and even committed serious crimes that have only compounded the situation. Floods, unemployment and lack of infrastructure have further crippled the valley.

In spite of all this, we need to cling on to that distant, fleeting hope. For things can get far worse from now on. The Pakistani army and ISI are doing everything possible to increase the level of violence in Kashmir. Global terror outfits like the Islamic State, Taliban and Al Qaeda are waiting to turn Kashmir into an extremist caliphate like they have in Syria and Afghanistan where there is non-stop violence including horrific tales of rape, slaughter and barbaric torture.

But our tryst with destiny is not over as yet. In fact, this is just the beginning. Kashmir is at the crossroads and the decisions you make today will help shape the future of your great civilization, the future of India and possibly that of all mankind. Yes, the future of the whole of mankind rests in your hands, my Kashmiri brethren. For if your star shines bright enough and far enough, it will inspire millions of people facing persecution and despair in Muslim countries as well as the rest of the world.

Kashmir is, was and shall always be an integral part of our great nation. When India gained independence, Lord Mountbatten and other British leaders had asked the leaders of each princely state to choose between India or Pakistan, and your erstwhile ruler had chosen to remain with India. This decision was respected by the international community, but not by Pakistan who immediately sent their Pashtun tribesmen to invade Kashmir in 1948. Certain Anti-Indian Resolutions were passed in the United Nations by vested interests in those early times and India was asked to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir after Pakistani troops were fully withdrawn from the region. Both India and Pakistan will never follow the conditions in these resolutions which have today become highly irrelevant.

Over the years Indian-administered Kashmir evolved into a modern region with a firm democratic setup, moderate infrastructure and several tourist hubs. Its growth story left the Pakistanis jealous and infuriated especially after Bangladesh had broken free from their evil clutches. So they chose to wound Kashmir deeply in the past four decades with the diversion of billions of dollars in aid and millions of tons of weaponry which have been generously given to them by the American, Saudi and the Chinese governments.

Your local leadership has failed you often, but so has the political leadership fallen short in the rest of the country. Yes, Kashmir is in the same boat as the rest of India. Politicians have become corrupt, callous and narrow minded. Fascist organizations, both Hindu and Muslim, threaten and abuse us as well as our way of life. Rights are being trampled, freedom is being suppressed. Yes, we must fight these evil designs together, but with the power of words and not the brutality of the gun. We must debate, argue and influence through our words and deeds, and not let bullets and stones do the talking.

And that is where Wani was wrong. For those who live by the gun shall perish by it. Unfortunately, many more innocent people are perishing along with Wani, uniformed and civilian. It's time to bring a halt to this madness and set Kashmir on the right path to peace and prosperity. The choice is yours to make. Discourage stone pelting and militancy, and encourage constructive debate, entrepreneurship and democracy. Above all, you must nurture a secular mindset in the valley that respects and appreciates people from different religious, linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Sadly enough there are a few people in India who look at Kashmir as just a piece of real estate and overlook the millions of Kashmiris, their emotions and their ambitions. Some of these have reached the highest echelons of power. They are our enemies too. They are the same lot who do not subscribe to the secular, socialistic idea of India. We fight them tooth and nail online and offline. But our means are just and peaceful. For violence begets violence; and the victors are usually communal politicians, blood-thirsty terrorists or a combination of both.

The union government of India and security personnel must take strict action not only against terrorists but also their own men whenever they violate the rule of law or use disproportionate force against innocent Kashmiris. Let Kashmiriyat and Insaniyat be the guiding principles for the people of Kashmir as well as those who govern them. There are a few things you need to do on high priority. Welcome the Pandits back into the valley, usher in a new era of development there and restore Kashmir back to its former glory. Is this too much to ask?
I would like to end this appeal with a lengthy quote from Nehru's famous speech at the dawn of our independence.
"To the people of India (and its state of Kashmir, I may add), whose representatives we are, we make an appeal to join us with faith and confidence in this great adventure. This is no time for petty and destructive criticism, no time for ill will or blaming others. We have to build the noble mansion of free India where all her children may dwell.
The appointed day has come - the day appointed by destiny - and India stands forth again, after long slumber and struggle, awake, vital, free and independent. The past clings on to us still in some measure and we have to do much before we redeem the pledges we have so often taken. Yet the turning point is past, and history begins anew for us, the history which we shall live and act and others will write about.
A new star rises, the star of freedom in the east, a new hope comes into being, a vision long cherished materializes. May the star never set and that hope never be betrayed by!"
Arise O Kashmiris, may your star rise and never set. Here's wishing you unending peace, prosperity and happiness. History shall begin anew!

The Great Indian THEM-OCRACY - Here's to a glorious future in a Banana Republic!

Hey, now it's officially confirmed that India is a Banana Republic. The details of the Essar Leaks scandal have finally blown the lid off the subterfuge. Our democracy is a joke! In fact, it is actually a THEM-OCRACY. Read in sync with the Radia tapes controversy and recent press reports, I declare that whichever government is at the helm, whether it is a BJP, Congress, Left, AAP or any other formation, India will still remain a Banana Republic, at least for a while. And here's why I say this:

1) The details of the Essar and Radia scandals reveal that even Union Budget decisions, ministry formations and important government policies are decided by big corporates . What's more? It shows that even the judgment of a supreme court judge was bought in the 2G corruption case (We already know that the CBI director had taken money from guilty parties in the case) and journalists are being paid to write news articles in favour of politicians and large business houses.
2) There is no such thing as privacy in India - if the phones of Ambani, Amitabh Bacchan, Ministers and the National Security Advisor can be tapped, then what hope is there for the common man?
3) Rajya Sabha tickets have been proved to be bought and sold in black like movie tickets ( all across the country).
4) The topper of a leading Political Science exam in Bihar did not know what the subject was about - it was found out later that the toppers had paid money for their prestigious position and failed the retest.
5) Several Indian citizens including a senior minister of India's 'most nationalistic' party are still communicating with the anti national terrorist Dawood Ibrahim who is the main culprit behind the Mumbai serial blasts.
6) CBI is now the CCBI or Clean Chit Bureau of Investigation. Its latest clean chit is in the Vyapam Scam where it claims that there is no criminal conspiracy although 51 people (witnesses and investigators) have died tragically and mysteriously, the latest being a senior police official who was hit by a speeding car earlier this week itself!
7) The CBI, ED, IT, NIA, RAW, IB and other investigating agencies have become puppets in the hands of their masters - The remote has only passed from the hands of Sonia to the hands of Modi - everything else is same - the match fixing, the clean chits, etc as is evident in the Ishrat Jahan Fake Encounter Controversy.
8) David Headley, one of the most dreaded terrorist involved in the plotting of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks was given immunity by Ajit Doval for 'revealing' what everybody knew and the nation does not want to know - why?
9) Most of our ministers and elected representatives across the country are murderers, rapists, kidnappers and thieves (the Indian citizen is fully to be blamed for this ).
10) Only 10% of those involved in heinous crimes, including those responsible for violent acts of terrorism and for rapes and murders in major riots, are pronounced guilty and most of them get only 10% of the severity of the sentence which they deserve - and that too either they are acquitted altogether (like Bhai) or get their sentences lowered in subsequent judicial reviews.
11) Governments, banks and the entire system unethically (and often illegally) shower lands, loans, largesse and loads of love on the Robert Vadras, Lalit Modis, Adanis and the Mallyas on "humanitarian grounds".

Here's to a glorious future in a Banana Republic!

Why don t you speak out against Indian Politicians? Most of them are far worse than Trump: An Open Letter to Priyanka Chopra

Dear Priyanka,

We are truly proud of your achievements as an actor, singer and model. We are prouder of your outburst against Donald Trump, the controversial US Presidential candidate who could very well 'Make America Hate Again'! You were spot on when you said: "I just think you can't put a ban on anyone; Generalising a type of people is really primitive." Insightful words Indeed!

As a matter of fact, I too have been a staunch critic of Trump and his politics of hate. However, at this point I must dare point out that this phenomenon of bigotry is not confined to the American shores alone. All across the globe, terrorists and fascists have sprung to power and formed governments just by selling Hate to the local populace. We have seen it happen in Egypt, Turkey, Gaza, Russia, Syria, Afghanistan and even in some European countries! Social media and the collaborative conventional media (or bazaaru media) rather than curtailing this menace, have contributed to its proliferation in every nook and corner of our beautiful planet. Yes, hate is selling everywhere.

But the stark reality is that India is no exception. Yes, you read it right. India is no exception. The winds of bigotry and prejudice blow unhindered and with great intensity across our great land too. Horrific deeds are perpetrated in the name of religion, caste, ethnicity and regional affiliation. And many of these atrocities have been orchestrated by leading Indian politicians for cheap political gains.

And this is where I question your partiality. Why do you choose to remain silent when our politicians spew venom and incite violence against our own countrymen? Wasn't your silence deafening when a man was butchered at Dadri by a mob that was driven by false rumours spread by local politicians of a national party. Why are you silent on riots engineered by politicians which have killed thousands of our citizens in the past few decades, especially the 1984 and 2002 riots. Aren't these murders, rapes and other physical attacks far worse than whatever Mr. Trump proposes?

But if you are looking out for someone who spreads vitriolic communal and ethnic hatred a la Trump, then look no further than our own Rajya Sabha. Just a few days ago, Modi has appointed the Xenophobic Subramaniam Swamy as the BJP representative in the upper house of the Indian parliament despite being fully aware of his ugly diatribes against the minorities of our nation. Mr Swamy wants Christians and Muslims to be driven out of our nation unless they acknowledge their Hindu ancestry.

Now even the government buttering Bollywood stars, who often click selfies with our Prime Minister, must agree that what Modi has done is terribly wrong. Swamy is far worse than Trump. While the US Presidential Candidate wants to prevent Muslims from coming to America, Swamy wants to kick out Muslims and Christians from India, although most of them are loyal citizens of this country. And your beloved PM could find only this despicable character to lead his party in parliament!

Will you now speak out against our xenophobic politicians and their vile deeds or will you continue to bury your head in the sand like an ostrich and pretend that all of us live in a hunky dory world in which the Trumps are just aberrations? Could you compose and sing verses that bring out the ugliness of Indian politics, or would you just be content to dance to the tunes of a sadistic establishment? The ball is in your court, Priyanka. Do remember the wisest words ever written: "The hottest seats in Hell are reserved for those who remain neutral in a moral crisis." Speaking out against the arrogant US Presidential candidate is a step in the right direction, but do show the same amount of concern when there are fires raging in your own backyard!

Bizarre Trailer of Indians in Pakistan, the Exciting Novel on Terrorism

Indians in Pakistan – An Exciting and Informative Novel

I smiled at the irony that while we, the trainees, were equipped with rocket launchers, AK47s and other sophisticated weaponry, the head of the mission confronted us with a measly pistol. I was still smiling as my fingers pulled the trigger. The short, bald leader collapsed in a heap. Our jeep sped away.

We left the camp that night, leaving a trail of destruction in our wake. Scores of dismembered bloody bodies lay strewn all over the place. Almost every solid structure had been reduced to rubble. Small fires flared at various places. There were a couple of big fires that lit up the night sky. But what I remember most vividly was the ghastly silence just before we left the site.

The above segment is a short extract from my novel ‘Indians in Pakistan’, an action thriller that will leave you spellbound. It will also immerse you into a totally different world in which different forces are at play as jihadis plot a rebellion against their evil masters.

Firstly, love blossoms between a male and female jihadi during the terror training itself. Then there is a sudden outburst of patriotism among the Indian jihadis at the camp. However, the camp management uses harsh tactics to keep all the jihadis in check. Will the Indians revolt? What will be the outcome? Buy the book to get these answers.

‘Indians in Pakistan’ will also take you down memory lane by delving deep into the history of the subcontinent. It takes a frank look (a bit too frank some may say) on certain controversial decisions and actions of people from both sides of the border during and after the partition. It even revisits Pandit Nehru’s famous speech made at the dawn of India’s independence.

My Suggestions to the Indian Govt, recommending a new anti-terrorism policy

My Suggestions to the Indian Govt, recommending a new anti-terrorism policy:
1) Hang all terrorists currently on death row within the next three months and send a strong message to all terrorists. The Government would need considerable assistance from the President and the courts to achieve this deadline.
2) Frame a new tough anti-terror law after reaching a consensus between political parties, the judiciary and the civil society. Representatives of each of these sections must process the bill in a drafting committee before it goes to the standing committee of parliament at the preliminary stage.
3) The new law must be stringent and based on past or existing legislations that have worked before. It must also consider existing terror laws in US and other countries which have managed to curb terrorism to some extent in the past decade or so. The legislation must be drafted such that it is not maliciously misused by biased authorities against members of particular communities.
4) Death sentences must be liberally dished out to terrorists once it has been established that they have been involved in acts of terror. Existing laws must be amended to recommend the harshest possible punishment for those indulging in terrorist activities.
5) Strict action must also be taken on those who provide a support system for these terrorists. The authorities must act on those who provide shelter, finance and other kinds of assistance to these sadists.
6) India must halt all talks with Pakistan until we are satisfied that not a single entity in the Pakistani government, armed forces and intelligent services are involved in the promotion or support of India-centric terror.
7) India must expose Pakistan’s sponsorship of terrorism in our country at various international forums, meetings and conventions especially at the United Nations.
8) The Govt must ban all communal political or social outfits which espouse violence against Indians based on their race, creed, caste or beliefs.
9) Police reforms and training is very essential in the fight against terror. Law enforcement agencies should be provided state-of-the-art weapons and gear to fight terrorists.
10) Citizens as individuals or in groups should assist law enforcement agents in the fight against terror in their individual capacity.
11) High rewards must be dished out to people who provide valuable information on terrorists. The reward scheme must be well publicized and commensurate with the kind of information given.
12) The NIA and RAW must be restructured and better organized to tackle the menace of terror. The new structure should be based on the Homeland Security of the US that has done a great job thus far. Terror-related information must be centralized and actionable inputs should be given as soon as possible to the various stakeholders like the state governments, local police, etc.
13) We should work with other governments and their law enforcement agencies in the fight against terror. Extradition treaties must be sought with almost every nation on this planet.
14) Our intelligence agencies must penetrate global terror networks with the aid of informants.
15) CCTVs and other anti-terror infrastructure should be available at strategic locations in major cities and towns. Each city should also have an NSG (commando) hub so that it can get speedy assistance in case of another 26/11 type of attack.

A Special Focus on the Horrific Vyapam Scam and the Murderous Right Wing Nexus in Madhya Pradesh

The sinister Vyapam scam has blown the lid off the hollow claims of the RSS and the BJP of being the protectors of Hindus and of being “true nationalists” as against the “treachery of pseudo-secular” politicians and “deshdrohi” minorities. Yes, the Hindutva brigade and their cronies have been massacring HINDUS (most of whom are ex-RSS recruits) in large numbers in Madhya Pradesh to cover up the massive corruption of the local BJP Government and the Sangh Parivar in the Vyapam Scam.

It’s a well known fact that the origins of the Vyapam scam lay in the covert policy of the BJP Government more than a decade ago to hand over degrees and jobs on a platter to the offspring of RSS and BJP leaders. The modus operandi was simple. A student impersonator, an ex-student or a bright peer, would be paid handsomely to write the answers at the designated examination centre for the undeserving student whose parents could bestow special favours or money to the student as well as the state education and government officials. Fake ID cards, spare class rooms, blank answer sheets, and a knowledgeable impersonator all formed the nucleus of this scam.

But the scam grew over the years to humongous proportions and even stretched beyond the right-wing mafia to contaminate the entire political and educational systems, law enforcement agencies and even the state judiciary. The children of politicians, judges and policemen have all benefited with educational qualifications and jobs, dangerously compromising these democratic institutions. Many deserving students have failed exams or not got jobs because of these scamsters, which caused a number of bravehearts aka whistleblowers to reveal the rot in the system at the risk of their precious lives.

No less than the governor, Ram Naresh Yadav, the former education minister, the ex-private secretary of the chief minister of the state, Shivraj Chauhan, and the BJP chief minister himself have been accused of being the ring leaders of the scam. The son of the Governor, a Congress appointee, has been killed and it was learnt that money had actually changed hands within the official residence of this dignitary. Confidential software including Excel sheets expose the misdoings of these top politicians and their cronies.

However, the Vyapam scam has taken a turn for the worse with the murder of more than 50 persons in the past 2-3 years that coincided with the rollout of the state-level probe by the cornered BJP government. These victims were either accused or witnesses, and all have died mysteriously with more than 10 deaths reported as “suicide” contrary to available evidences.meanwhile the state government and judiciary carried on an unfair, dishonest probe that moved at a snail's pace.

A typical example of the rampant killings and cover-ups was the case of Namrata Damor who had been caught for cheating a few days before her mutilated corpse was found on the railway tracks in a remote part of Madhya Pradesh. Three highly experienced doctors who examined her unidentified corpse and performed the first mortem came to the conclusion that it was murder by asphyxiation and strangling. They clearly mentioned it in their report after which her body was cremated.

However, later on her identity was established and a second report done three months later by Dr Badkur which was based on mere photographic evidence (and not on any physical examination of the body) came to the incredulous conclusion that the first report was wrong and the case was not of homicide but of suicide. Also, with a mere glance of the photograph, the doctor goes on to state even more ridiculously that the victim was mentally disturbed because of failure in love and annoyance of her parents. By the way, it was a post mortem report.

Interestingly, the same Dr. Badkur (alternatively spelled as Badkul) also performed the post mortem in the death of high-profile RTI activist and former BJP insider, Shehla Masood, who was shot dead by assailants on a bike. Even her post mortem was changed from murder to suicide due to the criminal intervention of the same Dr. Badkur who has become a master of post mortem fudging. There is a need for a fresh probe on the murder of Shehla Masood who “had just received information that could shake the government in Madhya Pradesh to its core." Check out more details of her death and coverup at http://www.hardnewsmedia.com/2011/11/4202 and http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/shehla-masood-case-police-forensic-doctors-botched-up-probe/1/154686.html

Despite my exposure of the complicity of Dr. Badkur in both these deaths, the mainstream national media has maintained a stoic silence on this issue. Hopefully, better sense prevails with the growing international media attention these cases have attracted.

And the right-wing murders don’t stop here. Yesterday the ninth key witness in the Asaram rape case was attacked and became the third victim to succumb to his wounds. A gullible electorate is willing to forgive and forget the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the riot massacres across India, the bomb blasts in Malegaon and  the Samjhauta Express and the bloody killings of RTI activists as well as key witnesses in the Vyapam scam and Asaram case. As long as we continue to vote for murderers, rapists and communal bigots, so omnipresent in the current political dispensation, then we must bid adieu to the false promises of Acche Din and good governance!

The Fallacy and Evils of the Beef Ban

Here are a few points that expose the fallacy and evils of the Beef Ban implemented by BJP in Maharashtra and Haryana:
1) Cowslaughter was already banned 4 decades ago, but what we are protesting against is the extension of the ban to bulls and bullocks.
2) Most of us respect the religious sentiments of Hindus vis-a-vis cow worship; but the bull should not come under this category especially as the Hindi word for bull i.e. bayl is used to abuse people who don't have their own minds. How can it then be claimed that bulls are divine?
3) The leather Industry would be badly hit in Maharashtra ruining the state economy badly.
4) Lacs of people employed in the beef trade will face unemployment in Maharashtra
5) Sexual offenders face lighter jail terms than the 5 year sentence for possession of beef. In Haryana, you will be charged with manslaughter if beef is found in your possession.
6) Beef constitutes a major part of the diet of millions of people in Maharashtra (representing nearly 35% of the population) including a large number of Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Dalits and Tribals (Hindus) - they will all be deprived of the fundamental right of eating the food items of their choice.
7) Prices of non-veg food items like chicken and mutton have already increased by more than 10%.
8) Prices of vegetables could increase drastically too as people switch to a vegetarian diet.
9) Old bulls and bullocks could be let loose on the streets as the farmers would not be able to care for them after they have outlived their utility.
10) Lacs of these poor farmers will be deprived of a major source of income as they no longer will be able to sell their old cattle to beef traders.
11) The communal intent of the Maharashtra State Government stood exposed as immediately after the Beef ban was implemented, it moved against job reservations for Muslims in the state.
12) The Maharashtra and Haryana Governments have exceeded their mandates in banning the possession of meat as the slaughter could have happened in other states in which the act is perfectly legal - The law is called COW SLAUGHTER and not BEEF POSSESSION.
13) Under the leadership of Narendra Modi of the BJP, India's Annual beef exports are the world’s second-largest with lacs of cows being slaughtered legally for consumption abroad.
Isn't it hypocritical of Modi and the BJP to allow COWS to be slaughtered in India for consumption by foreigners but not allow INDIANS to eat the flesh of BULLS and BULLOCKS! This is food for thought - Modi and Fadnavis might soon even ban FOOD for thought as they continue to dish out BULLSHIT!

The Anti Beef Ban March - Mumbai

It will be a peaceful march but a strong protest in the heart of Mumbai against the harsh, sadistic, illogical and unconstitutional Beef Ban implemented by the states of Mumbai and Haryana. The patriotic and secular stakeholders of the action-packed 'Indians in Pakistan' Novel feel that the BJP governments in these states do not have the mandate to enforce such a stringent and outrageous legislation that deprives millions of Indian citizens of their right to choose what to eat, of their right to livelihood as beef traders or vendors of leather products, and of their right to possess beef for whatever reason they deem fit.

We respect the religious sentiments involved in the slaughter of the COW and many of us may agree with state laws banning their (cow) slaughter, but still feel it preposterous to include bulls and bullocks in the definition of the cow for purposes of this act. By fast tracking these legislations within a few months of assuming power, and that too without proper consultation with the citizens, we feel that the two state governments have blatantly targeted various sections of the minorities who are known for their beef eating habits as well as for their active role in the beef and leather trade.

The Beef Ban is well aligned with the repressive agenda of the Maharashtra State Government which includes the unfair persecution of the participants and organizers of the 'vulgar' AIB Roast, threats against the popular movie 'PK' and the vindictive cancellation of the Jerry Seinfeld Show in Mumbai due to lack of parking space!

The Consequence of not protesting is too great! Today the Maharashtra Government told the high court that the slaughter of other animal species may be banned too in the near future. The Non Veg way of life is under threat in Mumbai and the Rest of Maharashtra. Those who are found in possession of Beef in Haryana now face manslaughter. Violation of this act in both states is a non-bailable offense with a long jail term. Other disadvantages include the loss of livelihood, spiraling prices of non veg food items, higher vegetable prices and livestock management woes (for farmers).

The FB link of this event is https://www.facebook.com/events/868301179955240/  Please share this link online and spread the word.

So, put on your marching shoes and let us march unitedly for the sake of millions of beef eaters, beef vendors, leather traders, farmers and every Indian citizen who has been deprived of fundamental human rights. We appeal to the Maharashtra and Haryana Governments to revoke the atrocious beef bans in their respective states at the earliest. We shall meet at 9 am on 1st May (Maharashtra Day) to commence this peaceful protest on the streets of Mumbai. The route is yet to be finalized. Jai Maharashtra, Jai Hind!

Deja Vous: So near and yet so far -The End of India’s World Cup Campaign

At the start of the ICC World Cup, Indian cricket fans were extremely skeptical of India’s world cup chances as they had been badly thrashed by Australia in the Test and One Day series. We knew that it would be virtually impossible back then and most of us were happy when we thrashed Pakistan in the first match. But then Team India did a complete U-Turn à la Modi Sarkar and started winning one match after another – including against strong cricketing teams like South Africa and the West Indies. And then they raised the hopes of even the non-cricket lovers and it was as if were at war against the other nations. Yes, many people who told me that they would not be following the cricket world cup as they hated the game watched the entire semi-final in which Australia trashed us badly.

These folks declared that Virat Kohli was the villain of the piece for dropping a sitter and then making just 1 run in 13 deliveries. There were dirty abuses hurled at Anuskha Sharma, the Bollywood Superstar, for just being present at the ground. They didn’t bother to ask why Raina didn’t bowl in the Australian innings, why Dhawan and Rohit Sharma frittered away a perfect start, why Raina did not fire and why no batsman except Dhoni could stand up to the might of the Aussie pace attack. Because they had their villains – Kohli and Anushka, and they need not look any further.

Yes, the memory of these folks is short. It was Kohli who had been the most consistent batsman in the 2011 world cup which we had won. It was Kohli who had single-handledly taken on the Aussies the whole summer. It was Kohli who has been declared our batsman in the past few years. The expectations were high and Kohli failed to deliver. That was all. Let us not blame Anushka for it. Mistakes happen, especially against the Aussies who have probably the best side in the world and are playing with home advantages. They knew the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) well. They have the fastest bowlers in the world in Starc and Johnson, who were deadly accurate as well. They had eight proper batsmen in their lineup.

It was Deja Vous for India. It was a replay of that awful 2003 world cup final. Australia batted first the too and had made a few runs more, and our best batsman, Sachin Tendulkar, got our cheaply at the start. The pressure got to both Indian teams in a big world cup match . And now it’s time to enjoy the finals with the Kiwis possibly getting clobbered tomorrow. That’s my prediction. What is yours?

Christmathon 2014: Modi Claus is Coming to Town....on an Adani Jet

You better watch out
For you will only cry
Better not smile,
I'm telling you why,
Modi Claus is coming to town!

He's making a fake encounter list
and checking it twice,
While CBI books online citizens
who were naughty not nice
Modi Claus will perform Ghar Vapsi in town!

Sahib spies on girls when they're sleeping,
He knows when they're awake,
He knows when Minorities are good or bad,
Remember Gujarat 2002 for Goodness Sake!

You better watch out
For you will only cry
Better not smile,
I'm telling you why,
Modi Claus is coming to town!

(We will conclude with the famous Christmas poem "T'was the night before Good Governance Day")

Christmathon 2014: Smriti, the Egg faced Mantri

Smriti the egg-faced Mantri
had a very long, long nose,
and every time she lies,
One inch longer it grows.
All of the other Mantris,
used to laugh and call her names,
they never let poor Smriti,
play in any right wing games!

Then one smoggy Good Governance Eve,
Modi came to say,
"Smriti with your nose so long,
why don't you sing a Sanghi song"
Then how the mantris loved her,
as she flashed her fake Yale Degree,
Smriti, the egg-faced Mantri,
is distorting texts of Indian History!

(Note: Our next carol is "Modi Claus is Coming to Town....on an Adani Jet")
